Insight guide

The snake was always a rope.

Direct, warm, sometimes funny. Never harsh.

One-to-one sessions with Marco for the fears, habits and stories that quietly run your life. We don't wrestle the illusion. We look at it together, until you see the rope.

A length of rope rising and coiling like a cobra, the snake that was always a rope.
The idea behind the name

Most of what frightens you isn't real. It only looks real.

At first glance

A snake.

The fear feels total. Your body reacts before you can think. It owns the room.

Look closer

Just a rope.

A coil of old learning, repeated until it felt like the truth. Nothing more.

Stop illusion

See beyond it.

Once you've seen the rope, you can't unsee it. The grip can start to let go.

The Lumière brothers' 1896 film still of a train arriving at La Ciotat station
1896 · La Ciotat

In 1896, the story goes, a whole room recoiled from a train made of light.

Your fears work the same way. Together, we find the projector.

Lumière brothers, “L’Arrivée d’un train en gare de La Ciotat”.

What we do together

No couch, no years of analysis. We go to the thing that's actually running the show, the illusion underneath the problem, and we look at it directly, side by side. With focus, with honesty, sometimes with humour.

I won't just nod along. I'll show you what you've stopped noticing, the story you've been living inside, and once you see it clearly, it loses its grip. That shift can happen surprisingly fast, and it tends to last.

01

We name the snake

A short, honest conversation to find the real shape of what's stopping you, not the polite version, the actual one.

02

We look together

We turn toward the thing you usually look away from, until your own mind sees the rope for what it is. No forcing, no fighting.

03

You walk out lighter

Many people walk out lighter, and what gripped them starts to feel ordinary. You leave with practical ways to hold the new view in place.

These sessions are a complementary practice, not medical or psychological treatment, and not a substitute for care from a doctor or licensed mental-health professional. They do not diagnose or treat medical conditions.

About

My job isn't to keep you comfortable. It's to help you see what's really there.

The work is simple, even when the change feels big: see the illusion clearly, and it loosens its hold.

Common questions

Do I have to relive everything?

No. You don't have to dig up the past or share more than you want. We work with what's here now.

Is this therapy or coaching?

Neither, exactly. It's focused insight work, not treatment. If you need clinical care, I'll point you there honestly.

What if it doesn't work?

I'll tell you honestly if I don't think I can help, before you commit to anything.
